Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says his side have to do whatever it take to beat Maritzburg United in their Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday.
The Brazilians will be hoping to redeem themselves against the Team of Choice after Fadlu David’s side eliminated them from the Nedbank Cup in the semi-final by 3-1 at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday.
Mosimane wants his side to claim maximum points on Wednesday in the hope of wrapping up the league as fast as possible.
“We must at least get a point, if we don’t win,” Mosimane told the media.
“So we won’t be emotional, we’ve got three games from which to get six points.
“It is an important game for us, A very, very important game for us. We have to do whatever we have to do to win the game.”
Sundowns are currently placed top of the PSL standings with 55 points while Maritzburg occupy third place with 32 points, trailing the log leaders by 13 points after 27 matches played so far this season.
The match at the Harry Gwala Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
