Golden Arrows have officially announced the signing of former Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs striker Ryan Moon as they continue to bolster their squad for the 2022-23 season.
The 25-year-old striker joins Arrows as a free agent after he parted ways with Swedish outfit Varbergs BoIS FC where he spent the 2021-22 season, scoring seven goals and assisting a further one in 25 appearances.
Moon came through the ranks at Maritzburg United before making his senior debut in 2014, managing only three appearances before he was snapped up by Kaizer Chiefs, making 44 appearances in all competitions while scoring seven goals and assisting one.
The Pietermaritzburg-born striker then left Amakhosi in 2019 to join Stellenbosch FC before eventually moving abroad after signing for Swedish outfit Varbergs BolS in March last year.
However, Arrows has since ended speculation about his future after he became their latest signing for the season ahead.
“Abafana bes’thende are excited to announce the signing of Ryan Moon. Help welcome Ryan to the green and gold family and wish him a successful time with us at the club,” Arrows announced on their official Twitter page.
