Cape Town City have continued to bolster their squad by acquiring the services of striker Mogamat May.
He joins the Citizens from SAB League outfit Hanover Park FC to replace Fagrie Lakay, who recently moved to Egyptian giants Pyramids FC.
The 23-year-old is the Mother City outfit’s second signing during the January transfer window after Venezuelan winger Darwin Gonzalez.

On the club’s official Twitter page, City head coach Eric Tinkler had this to say about May:
“He’s a natural goalscorer from what I’ve seen. He’s got a lot of pace and power, so I think he’s a good acquisition for us in the striking department. Playing for Hanover Park, having a very, very good season scoring 13 goals and 9 assists in 10 games.
“Came to us on trial and did exactly that, scoring a lot of goals in training and friendly matches – so obviously that generated the interest and a bit of a no-brainer for us to sign him.”
