Colombian striker Leonardo Castro has wished his Mamelodi Sundowns teammates farewell ahead of his move to Kaizer Chiefs in January.
The 28-year-old was officially unveiled by Amakhosi on Monday afternoon after spending two-and-a-half seasons at Chloorkop.
Sundowns went on to released a video on Twitter of Castro bidding farewell to his teammates.
“I want to say thank you to everyone for believing in me, for supporting me,” Castro said.
“I am really appreciative of the relationships. I am very happy for you. I still believe in our relationships outside.
“I say thank you to everyone. I apologise for any annoyance encountered in that time.
“I wish all the best for the future to everyone. Merry Christmas, happy new year and God bless.”
The Colombian striker has netted 16 goals and assisted a further eight from 62 appearances in all competitions during his time at Chloorkop.
