Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Gustavo Paez and Ramahlwe Mphahlele has recovered from their respective injuries and returned to full training.
The Glamour Boys will surely be boosted by the return of a number of players ahead of their Nedbank Cup semi-final clash against Free State Stars on Saturday.
Chiefs physiotherapist Dave Milner provided an injury update on the following players:
“Ramahlwe Mphahlele has recovered from the hamstring injury and will undergo a final fitness test this week.
“Erick Mathoho is progressing well after the head injury sustained last week against Chippa United. We are monitoring him and will have an update before the trip to Durban.
“Gustavo Paez has joined the team training after suffering a calf muscle strain two weeks ago.
“Teenage Hadebe is under assessment from an ankle injury sustained against Chippa United. He is doing well and we hope he will recover in time for the Nedbank Cup semifinal this weekend.”
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Letlotlo and Tsepo Masilela both returned to full training after suffering their respective injuries as they continue to get match fit.
Kaizer Chiefs will play host to Free State Stars in their Nedbank Cup semi-final clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, with kick-off set for 20:15.
