Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat has downplayed the individual errors that has costed the team dearly this season.
The Glamour Boys have had numerous individual errors this campaign which has seen them concede six defeats and seven draw, while claiming seven wins in 20 games in the Absa Premiership this season.
However, the 28-year-old attacker explained that they will remain united as a team whether they win or lose.
‘We are professional, we are never perfect, and I miss a lot of chances when I should help the team win, like in that Cape Town City game,’ Billiat told the media.
‘I look at myself and ask, “How do I feel? What should I have done better?” And the reality is that anything can happen to anyone.
‘But we can’t blame that person because to be selected after putting in an effort, you’ve done something, you’ve worked hard, and we should give credit,’ he added.
‘I’m sure everyone wants to fight for the club regardless of what happens in one particular game, and we’re positive about it. We’re one big family; we lose together, and we win together,’ Billiat concluded.
