Bidvest Wits midfielder Daylon Claasen believes his side’s 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs was a fair result for both sides.
The Clever Boys currently sit 14th in the Absa Premiership standings with 22 point after Lehlohonolo Majoro cancelled out Ryan Moon’s first half opener.
Claasen, who walked away with the Man of the Match award, admits that both sides had their chances to win the match and walk away with all three points.
“It was a competitive match. Both teams had opportunities but we got the point and we’ll take,” Claasen told SuperSport TV after the game.
“There were chances for both teams, so it’s fair result.”
Speaking on Gavin Hunt’s half time team talk, Classen said: “He just motivates us and tells us what to correct from the first half and it worked, so we are happy.”
Bivest Wits will now take on welcome Cape Town City to the Bidvest Stadium when the two sides clash in the Nedbank Cup on Wednesday, with kick-off set for 19:30.
