Cape Town City chairman John Comitis says he is keen to secure the services of Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo during the January transfer window.
Khuzwayo, who made two appearances for Amakhosi this campaign, will be free to speak to clubs during the January transfer window as he heads into the last six months of his contract at Chiefs.
The 27-year-old has been playing second choice to number one goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune since joining the Soweto giants from AmaZulu back in 2012.
When asked about the Citizens interested in the Bafana Bafana shot-stopper, Comitis said:
“As I said, on the first of January I’m allowed to do certain things and I will do what I need to do. Then we’ll see what happens. Until then I can’t talk about it,” Comitis told KickOff.com.
Cape Town City will next travel to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium when they take on Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership on 6 January 2018, with kick-off set for 20:15.
