Cape Town City have unveiled leading motor retailer Barloworld as the club’s official vehicle sponsor.
The deal will see a fleet of nine Volkswagen vehicles available for City to continue to reach all communities across Cape Town, specifically with the club’s PSL team as well as the DreamClub 100 initiative.
The club’s John Comitis believes their new sponsorship deal will go a long way towards helping the club fulfull their ambitions.
“We are extremely happy to see a big company like Barloworld investing in us and investing in football. In Cape Town, there’s been a shortage of this kind of interest from big corporates. We are happy to have changed this,” Comitis said.
“This deal enables us to make many more dreams come true and gives us the necessary tools to raise the club to an even bigger standard.”
Barloworld is a distributor of leading global brands, providing integrated rental, fleet management, product support and logistics solutions.
Established in 1902 in South Africa, Barloworld is one of the country’s oldest companies.
The company says inspiring leadership, a reputation for ethical conduct, innovation and a commitment to giving back has ensured Barloworld’s longevity over the past 114 years.
