Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic believes that the Buccanneers should be in a much better position in the league, citing that they have been hard done by.
The Soweto giants ended their six-game winless streak in the PSL when Musa Nyatama”s strike saw them edge Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 on Sunday. Micho, however, feels that his side have been unlucky with regards to not garnering favourable results.
“Football is a game where it is not you get what you deserve, but it is what you get,” he told kickoff.
“I believe that in all the games we played, we could get much more than what we got in the times behind us. Having in mind the possession we had, having in mind the chances we created, having in mind minimising the chances created towards us.
“If football was a game where you get what you deserve then we would get much better results.
“Football is not what you deserve, football is what you get in the end,” he added.
“Our philosophy today, if we could not create goals from a number of chances, let us create more chances. It was very hard to play against a very good set-up of Bloemfontein Celtic”s defense.
“Very dangerous on counter-attacks, you could see reaching the final has increased confidence. Yes, we got a result but we have to work very hard to get that consistencey in getting results,” he concluded.
