Mamelodi Sundowns walked away with the bragging rights after claiming a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Tshwane rivals SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
A goal from Peter Shalulile saw Sundowns open a 14-point lead at the summit of the league standings with 37 points after 15 games, while United dropped down to fifth place with 22 points after 15 matches.

Orlando Pirates extended their unbeaten run in the DStv Premiership to five games following their comfortable 2-0 win over TS Galaxy at the Orlando Stadium.
Goals in each half from Bandile Shandu and Collins Makgaka were enough to take Piratesup to second place in the table with 23 points, while the Rockets remain in 13th with 13 points following their third defeat.
