Bidvest Wits coach Gavin hunt has stressed the importance of turning their season around in a bid to defend their Absa Premiership title.
The Clever Boys succumbed to their fifth stalemate of the season and have collected a mere eleven points from a possible 39 thus far this season.
“It’s frustrating,” Hunt said after the draw against Polokwane City.
“We’ve spoken about it every week. We are only nine points from the top and we are rock bottom.
“The games are moving and we need to start making a move. We need to start winning games. We have been poor at home and good away, but you know that’s football.
“We can’t keep going on like this. We need to win a game or two. We’ve got to keep believing, working hard, doing the right things and keep going. We are good enough to win many games in a row.
“It’s going to be difficult to catch anybody like Sundowns. They’ve got the experience and they are a very good side. But we can’t worry about them now. We have to try sort ourselves out,” he added.
Wits’ next assignment sees them face Platinum Stars on Saturday night with kick-off set for 20:15.
