Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt admits that Camaldine Abraw is doing “okay” while on trial, but remains uncertain whether or not he’ll earn a deal with the club.
The 26-year-old has recently been training with the Absa Premiership champions, after parting ways with the Glamour Boys by mutual consent.
The Wits coach admits that the former Amakhosi striker is doing ‘okay’ during training, but is yet to decide whether he has done enough to earn a contract at the club.
“He [Abraw] is doing okay, I don’t know if he will sign, but he is doing okay,” Hunt told KickOff.com.
Over the course of his career, Abraw has netted 13 times and assisted a further eight goals from 89 appearances in all competitions, playing for the likes of Chateauroux, Hassania d’Agadir, Les Herbiers, Cherbourg, Free State Stars and Amakhosi.
The Students have already secured the services of Steven Pienaar, Daylon Claasen, Kobamelo Kodisang, Slavko Damjanovic and Bokang Thlone to bolster their squad as they prepare their defence of the PSL title.
