Premier Soccer League chairman Dr Irvin Khoza on Tuesday morning announced Carling Black Label as the new sponsor of the league cup.
The PSL has been without a sponsor for the competition since Telkom pulled out during the coronavirus pandemic last season.
The 2022-23 season, though, will feature the return of the cup as the Carling Knockout Cup with some interesting additions.

The format will mirror that of years gone by with 16 teams from the top flight competing in a round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
The winner of the competition will then play a once-off game against a team made up of players from the teams who did not win the cup but will include a split of first-team players and players from the Multichoice Diski Challenge, set to take place on 16 December.
