‘I feel honoured having been given an opportunity to join Orlando Pirates and it has been an unbelievable experience for me,’ he told the media.
‘Wearing the club jersey is also a great feeling. Since joining the club I have been learning from the technical team.
‘The supporters have been great, so, it is good to be part of such a family. I’m also grateful for having been given the opportunity to play with such talented individuals.
‘I’m willing to continue learning and helping the team going forward.
‘I honestly feel that any of my team-mates deserved to win the man of the match award because we all put in a good shift.
‘We saw the youngster [Siphumelele] Mbulu, who had a great game and he also deserved to win the award, while [Thabo] Qalinge and our defence also did well,” Mlambo indicated.
‘I cannot name them all, but we all we all put in a good effort. I was fortunate to win the award, but it was collective effort,’ he concluded.
