Pitso Mosimane had some harsh words for Eric Tinkler after Mamelodi Sundowns played to a 1-1 draw against SuperSport United in the Tshwane Derby.
Thabo Mnyamane’s first-half strike was canceled out by Percy Tau’s second-half strike as Masandawana extended excellent record against their arch-rivals.
Former Cape Town City mentor Tinkler revealed that he was happy with his side’s efforts at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, suggesting that the Chloorkop based outfit parked the bus.
“There was a bus in defence and there was a Ferrari in attack,’ Tinkler said in post-match comments.
“He wasn’t prepared for the Ferrari. You can’t complain about the bus, but you must also be prepared for the Ferrari,” he added.
Mosimane, however, rebuffed Tinkler’s sentiments saying that he should rather put his focus on getting his side out of the relegation battle.
“Which Ferrari? He has to come out of the relegation zone first to talk about the Ferrari. Where are the Ferraris? He parked the bus. What is he talking about?
“No. What Ferrari? He must manage his programme for Africa. I am waiting to advise him,” he concluded.
