Kaizer Chiefs and Nike have unveiled the new home and away kits which will be worn for the 2017-18 season.
The Soweto giants, who have endured two consecutive seasons without silverware, will be hoping the launch of their new kits can help them reclaim their glory days.
The club’s marketing director, Jessica Motaung, highlighted that the new strips have captured the ”image and brand values” of the club.
“Kaizer Chiefs and Nike have created a new kit that is in line with our image and brand values,” she told the club’s website.
“The technological advances and the stylish look of the jerseys will help enhance the boys’ performance on the field and they will certainly look as glamorous as ever.
“We are particularly excited about the launch of a women’s jersey. We have been working hard to ensure that our ladies also receive a jersey that is specifically designed for them to fit comfortably.
“Our female support base is huge and it was imperative for us to not forget about them, as they have been asking for a jersey for a while.
“We call on supporters to only purchase their jersey from our retail outlets, kcdigistore.com and other reputable retail stores to ensure that they purchase an authentic jersey and receive value for their hard-earned money,” she concluded.
Fans of the Glamour Boys will get to see their team don the new home kit in the Carling Black Label Champion Cup match against Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 29 July.
