Bidvest Wits striker Lehlohonolo Majoro insists he’ll put his emotions aside when he takes on his former side Cape Town City in the Nedbank Cup on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old has already made six appearances while scored once since making the move to the Clever Boys from Cape Town City during the January transfer window.
Majoro says he will keep a ‘cool head’ when his side welcomes his former employer to the Bidvest Wits Stadium in the Nedbank Cup.
“I am always excited to play football. Yes, I am playing against my former team but I don’t want to change anything or psyche myself for the match,” Majoro told Sowetan Live.
“Once you do that you lose the plot and tend to play with emotion rather than a cool head.”
The match at the Bidvest Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
