Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed the signing of Kearyn Baccus on a long-term deal with the Soweto giants.
The 27-year-old recently announced that the club have agreed to terms with Australian A-League side Melbourne City for the services of Baccus.
Baccus has since concluded his move to Amakhosi after putting pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Glamour Boys.
The Durban-born defensive midfielder becomes Amakhosi’s fourth signing in the current transfer window after Zambian striker Lazarous Kamobole, Serbian forward Samir Nurkovic and Ghanaian midfielder James Kotei.
The Glamour Boys released the following statement on the arrival of Baccus:
‘Kaizer Chiefs would like to confirm the arrival of Kearyn Byron Baccus.
‘The midfielder lands in Naturena from Australia where he played for Melbourne City FC in the A-League.’
The 27-year old, affectionately known as ‘Kizza’, is a Durban-born South African. He spent most of his life in Australia after his family moved there when he was eight.
