Former Orlando Pirates winger Lebohang Mokoena believes that Musa Nyatama is a different player at the Buccaneers.
Nyatama moved to Mamelodi Sundowns from Maritzburg United in 2010. However, after failing to make an impact at the Brazilians and after a number of loan moves the midfielder moved to Bloemfontein Celtic in 2015. After recapturing his form at Siwelele, Nyatama earned himself a move to Orlando Pirates at the beginning of the current campaign.
The midfielder has become an integral part of Milutin Sredojevic’s team this season, making 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
Mokoena, affectionately known as ‘Cheesboy’ believes that we are now seeing a different player at the Soweto Giants.
Speaking to KickOff.com the Sundowns midfielder said, ‘I have been impressed with Musa Nyatama. The Musa I see now is not the same Musa I played with at Sundowns. He is smooth, clean, a two-touch player. He gets into the right spaces and knows when to attack. He gives them fluidity. It’s a plus for Pirates having Musa playing in that role.’
The Bidvest Wits academy product will be back in action with Pirates after the international break when they take on his former side Bloemfontein Celtic on 4 March.
