Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane hopes to field a fully fit team for their mouth-watering clash against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
The Brazilians currently occupy top spot in the Absa Premiership standings with 34 points while Amakhosi sit third with 29 points, trailing the log leaders by five points.
Mosimane will be hoping to have a fit squad to complete against the quality Chiefs possesses.
“Yeah, big game, I wish I could play this big game with a fully fit team and compete fairly, but I cannot complain, you know, because the same team that played here when we lost (2-1) to Chiefs (in October), they played well,” Mosimane said.
“They played very well. We need to be smart in FNB. We need to be smart, not to be all over the place, you know.”
The Sundowns mentor is consider playing a fast pace game to try and catch Amakhosi out on the counter.
“I want to respond to what the table says on the log. We don’t want to lose in FNB, no. We have to be smart. You might not win, but we are not losing,” he added.
“I also want to use speed against people and maybe I will use counter attack there. We will see how the game is.
“They have three centre backs always and it works for them. And they do well with that and look where they are on the log.”
Mosimane admits that he is scared to face Steve Komphela’s side after they came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Baroka last Sunday.
“Yes, I’m scared!” Mosimane concluded.
The match at the FNB Stadium kicks off at 20:15.
