Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and Percy Tau has been named the Absa Premiership Coach and Player of the Month for December 2017.
Mosimane guided Sundowns to the top of the PSL standings with an impressive four wins out of the five games in December.
In December, the Sundowns mentor earned 12 points after victories against Golden Arrows, Bloemfontein Celtic, Maritzburg United and Baroka, which saw them bag 10 goals while only conceding twice.
Tau walked away with the Player of the Month award ahead of Celtic’s Victor Letswalo, Maritzburg duo of Lebo Maboe and Siphesihle Ndlovu as well as teammate Dennis Onyango.
The 23-year-old was singled out for having scored four goals in five games including providing an assist in December as he helped the Brazilians turn their form around this campaign following their slow start to the season.
Meanwhile, Hlompho Kekana’s stunning goal from the centre of the field for Sundowns against Orlando Pirates has won the Absa Premiership Goal of the Month award for November.
