Mamelodi Sundowns right-back Khuliso Mudau showed his gratitude toward the technical team and coach staff following his man of the match performance against Sekhukhune United.
Goals from Neo Maema and Themba Zwane saw Sundowns return to winning ways after securing a 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United at ABSA Tuks Stadium on Saturday.
Sundowns are now unbeaten in 12 games in the DStv Premiership and have extended their lead at the top of the table to nine points, while United remain third on the table with 20 points from 12 matches.
“We needed these three points, we’ve been doing very well, unfortunately, we played two games that we were drawing,” Mudau told SuperSport TV after the game.
“We needed this win as the coaches were telling us we need to work hard, make sure we get the three points.
“Ja it was a great performance from me, I really want to thank the technical team, the coaches. They are doing a great job to make sure we’re doing a great job as well, as players.”
