The New Zealand international moved to the Brazilians from SuperSport United during the January transfer window, but is yet to find the back of the net for Sundowns, having already made 13 appearances in all competitions.
Ndlovu wants Brockie to continue to work hard during training in order to regain his confidence and cement his place in the Sundowns starting lineup and break his duck.
‘Sundowns, in signing him, they saw the potential and that’s why they brought him in,’ Ndlovu told KickOff.com.
‘So what he needs to do, he should bring back his confidence so that the other players can believe in him and also retain the confidence to believe in himself.

‘Before he thinks of what if other players are going to pass to him and now there’s [Andile] Jali and [Oupa] Manyisa, “I as Brockie, let me start things at training to score goals”. I always say to the players that you must prove them wrong at training before you get the team’s selection because everything starts at training.
‘Some players don’t make a point of it and you normally see fans in the games asking, “Why didn’t you play Sandile Ndlovu?” At the same time, Sandile Ndlovu is not doing well at training. So you must work hard at training and then the results will come, because what you do at training is also going to happen in an official game.
‘So when you are scoring at training you make it a habit and when it comes to real matches you just walk in there, and that was my motto.
‘I knew Andrew Rabutla was rough and I instinctively knew what I’m going to do to see the net bulges,’ he concluded.
