The midfielder was rewarded for a stellar 2017/18 season by being named the Cape Town City Player of the Year.
Nodada has continued to develop and improve under his childhood hero in Cape Town and he praised the coaches for his new found confidence.
‘It’s been enormous man [to play for McCarthy]. Not everybody gets to be mentored by a childhood hero, let alone have one believe in your abilities,’ Nodada told FourFourTwo South Africa.

‘Above that, having someone who’s achieved what I want to achieve and have him to guide me is a blessing, it really is.
The Citizens enter their second season under the former Bafana Bafana striker and Nodada promised the fans that they are ready to deliver this time around.
‘We know very well of the disappointments of last season and how close but far we came. It’s a new season, fresh start and I’m more than sure we will deliver more than last season.
‘Keep believing us and never doubt the impact your support has on us,’ he concluded urging the fans to keep the faith.
