Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic praised SuperSport United following their 0-0 draw on Tuesday night in the Absa Premiership.
The Soweto giants failed to extend their winning streak as they played to a goalless stalemate against Eric Tinkler’s side at the Orlando Stadium.
“We have played one very experienced team that had over 20 international games and you could see how they could control themselves throughout the game competitively,” he said in post-match comments.
“You could see that playing all over Africa has put mileage in their legs and they are having a great experience [sic].
“They had initiative in the first half in creating chances. We also had one on the other side. At half-time, we regrouped
“I think that the game could have gone either way. I regret that it didn’t go our way, because the boys really gave their best in today’s game,” he concluded.
Pirates’ next assignment sees them face AmaZulu in a league encounter on Saturday with kickoff set for 20:15.
