Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands says the Buccaneers will be hoping to challenge and achieve silverware next season.
The Buccaneers managed to finished second in the Absa Premiership standings following their impressive display during the 2017-18 campaign.
Sandilands says he wants the Buccaneers to challenge for silverware on all fronts during the 2018-19 campaign.
“I think every player will be lying to you if he says he is going into the season and he doesn’t want to win anything,” Sandilands told KickOff.com.
“I don’t know which player will say to you that they are training so hard and sacrificing so much, and they do not want to win anything.
“I think for us as players, playing for a club like Pirates demands success. I think it is in our hearts and mind that we want to achieve and win trophies.
“In every competition we participate in we must take that as an opportunity to win something.
“Obviously there is a lot of work to be done in saying it and achieving it, but as players at Pirates that’s what we are looking to achieve next season,” he concluded.
