Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic is sweating over the fitness of Thamsanqa Gabuza and Thabo Matlaba ahead of their clash against Golden Arrows on Tuesday.
The Pirates duo picked up minor injuries, sustained during the Sea Robbers’ defeat to Polokwane City in the Telkom Knockout quarterfinal at the Orlando Stadium on 4 November.
Matlaba is currently nursing his way back to full fitness from an ankle sprain, while Gabuza is receiving treatment for his thigh injury.
The pair continue to undergo rehabilitation and will be assessed to determine their availability for Pirates’ Absa Premiership clash against Abafana Be’sthende on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Mthokozisi Dube and Innocent Maela continue to receive treatment for their respective injuries, and will not be available for selection as they continue to find their way back to full fitness.
