Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane admitted that not many side’s will take points off an improved Kaizer Chiefs after the arrival of Ernst Middendorp, writes DEAN WORKMAN.

The German coach was appointed as Amakhosi manager at the beginning of December 2018 following the dismissal of Italian manager Giovanni Solinas.

‘Ya you can see that the team is different, meaning Kaizer Chiefs,’ said Pitso to the media following the game.

‘Organisation, stronger and very difficult for us. It was akward for us in the first half because it took us a bit of time to figure out how they play.

‘I think after we scored the first goal we went immediately down, because they play different, and in a manner that I did not expect, where you have Katsande coming in the back and then you have two extra midfielders and we struggled to deal with George (Maluleka) and Lebo (Manyama) also caused us problems.

‘So it was tough because you have to deal with all these issues, its not easy, im just thinking how many teams will come and get points here, not many hey,’ concluded the Sundowns coach.
