New Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas has revealed that he will need time to lead his side to silverware.
The Glamour Boys have not won a trophy in three years and Solinas has been given the task of turning things around at Naturena.

The Italian, however, has only been at the club for three weeks and speaking after his side’s opening day 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns, Solinas revealed that his players need time to adapt to his system before they can be considered to be trophy chasers.
‘I don’t feel under pressure. I’m comfortable. I like the pressure. It makes me motivated. We are a big club. We have big expectations because we did not win a trophy in three seasons. But we need time. I work hard from morning to night,’ said the former Free State Stars mentor.

‘I work hard to make our fans happy. We must work hard to improve and fix mistakes. The reaction from players in training is unbelievable. I want to thank the players for the effort.
‘To win trophies, you need preparation. You don’t need a magic wand to win trophies. You need hard work. I don’t know how long we need. It’s a process. Some teams learn quickly. Some need more time. I don’t know the time frame for us.
‘How quickly we win depends on how the players adapt,’ concluded Solinas.
