Kaizer Chiefs forward Bernard Parker insists there is no pressure on his side ahead of the Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates despite the game being a ‘must-win’ for the Amakhosi, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
The Glamour Boys struggles against their arch rivals in recent times has been well documented with them failing to pick up a win since the penalty-shoot out victory in the Telkom Knockout in 2015.
The two sides have also enjoyed contrasting seasons which has added to the pain of the Chiefs faithful.
Pirates are second on the league table and firmly amongst the title chasers, while also competing in the group stages of the Caf Champions League. Chiefs, on the other hand, are currently sitting sixth on the log.

Another loss against Pirates on the weekend will not only land another blow to the Chiefs fans but will also leave them in an unfamiliar position on the league table.
Despite this Parker believes there is no pressure on his side ahead of the crunch match up.
‘No pressure, but it is a must win for us,’ said Parker to the media at Naturena on Tuesday.
‘You can see the positive energy around here (at training), and its more mental for us now to be free and play within our guidelines and according to the plan.
‘We know if we do that, we will come out victorious and get the three points and we need those three points,’ concluded the veteran forward.
