Milutin Sredojevic says he was pleased with Orlando Pirates performance against Bloemfontein Celtic after ending their six-game winless run in the Absa Premiership.
The Buccaneers claimed all three points after defeating Celtic 1-0 at the Dr Molemela Stadium courtesy of a goal by Musa Nyatama.
Sredojevic says his side will continue to work hard at becoming more lethal in the final third after scoring one goal against Siwelele, despite creating numerous chances in the final third.
“I think we had a very good planning of the game in every aspect from Tuesday. We dominated as usual, we created chances,” Micho told SuperSport TV after the game.
“At halftime we focused on bringing ourselves to scoring positions and Musa [Nyatama] scored from the same thing we anticipated in the middle from deeper position. Congratulations to him and all the team members.
“We worked very hard, the mental block that was in front of us, six games without a win, when you have such mental block even the legs are logged.
“I believe with winning this is how the legs are unlocked and we can play our football. To play good defensively, not allowing the opposition to have chances and dominating in the middle and to convert chances. This is the beauty of the game, it is what is inviting,” he concluded.
Orlando Pirates will be hoping to extend their winning run to two games when they take on SuperSport United at the Orlando Stadium on 5 December, with kick0off scheduled for 19:30.
