SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler revealed that he will look to acquire replacements for the outgoing Mario Booysen and Mandla Masango.
The newly-crowned Nedbank Champions will lose the services of Booysen and Masango, who are returning to Mamelodi Sundowns and Randers after a successful season-long loan stint.
Booysen, who featured for the full ninety minutes in South Africa’s shock Cosafa Cup loss to Tanzania, made 16 appearances in all competitions for Matsatsantsa last season, while Masango featured 15 times, netting four goals in all competitions.
The former Cape Town City mentor has already confirmed the return of Thato Mokeke from his loan spell with the Citizens, in addition to the Mother City based-outfit signing of Jeitoso, Ayanda Patosi and Lyle Lakay.
“We’ve obviously lost Mandla Masango to his club [Randers] and Mario Booysen has gone back to Mamelodi Sundowns,” Tinkler told kickoff.
“We definitely need to bring in two new players in those positions. For now those are the only positions I am looking at,” he concluded.
