Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rulani Mokwena says they are well-prepared for the Soweto Derby on Saturday having studied arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
Milutin Sredojevic’s side are set to do battle against Chiefs at the FNB Stadium with kickoff set for 15:30.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns assistant Mokwena says they have divided the pitch into portions as special preparation for the Soweto Derby.
“We’ve been marking the training pitch this way for a while now,” he said at a press-conference.
“It’s what influences our game model & tactical approach. Our education & learning from training allows us to play in a certain way on game day.
“There’s a lot of detail that has gone into our analysis & tracking of behavioral patterns of our opponent.
“They are well coached & we respect that. This game on the weekend will give us an indication of where our football is going,” he concluded.
Pirates occupy second spot on the Absa Premiership table – four points adrift of table-toppers, Mamelodi Sundowns.
