Mamelodi Sundowns icon Hlompho Kekana has announced his retirement from professional football at age 37.
The defender left the Brazilians by mutual consent at the beginning of the year after struggling to get game time in a highly competitive squad.
The legendary midfielder has now decided to call time on his playing time all together, bringing an end to one of the most successful careers in PSL history.
Kekana won eight league titles, two with SuperSport United and six with Downs, while also winning the Caf Champions League and Caf Super Cup with the Brazilians.
The 37-year-old announced his decision via his social media channels.
