Mamelodi Sundowns have beaten Cape Town City to claim the Quarter Two in the Q-Innovation and will now walk away with R1.5.million.
The Brazilians has won the second quarter of the Absa Premiership for four consecutive seasons now after claiming it during the 2018-19, 2017-18, 2016-17 and 2015-16 campaigns.
The Premier Soccer League will hand over the R1.5 million prize money tonight ahead of their league fixture against Black Leopards at Loftus Stadium with kick off set for 19:30.
Sundowns won the 2018-19 Q2 with 17 points from seven matches after securing five victories, two draws and no defeats.
Meanwhile, Cape Town City are second on the log and narrowly missed the top prize by one point (they have 16 points). Bidvest Wits, who won 2018-19 Quarter One, are third with 14 points from seven games.
