SuperSport United are set to engage in negotiations with winger Mandla Masango after the Nedbank Cup final, with the view of making his loan move permanent.
The former Kaizer Chiefs man joined Matsatsantsa in the January transfer window on a six-month loan spell after being sidelined at Danish outfit Randers FC.
The 27-year-old did enough during his loan spell, making 17 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals to impress SuperSport, who are set to hold talks with him in a bid to bring him back to the Absa Premiership on a permanent basis.
Club CEO Stan Matthews revealed that the club intends to negotiate with Masango after the Nedbank Cup final on June 24th.
”We’ll engage them [Randers FC] after the Cup final and see if we can reach a common ground,” Matthews told KickOff.
Masango will aim to end his season on a high as SuperSport look to defend their Nedbank Cup title against Orlando Pirates on June 24th at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The former Bafana Bafana international could lift the trophy for the second time in his career, having clinched the same trophy while at Chiefs during the 2012/13 campaign, defeating SuperSport 1-0 in the final.
