Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela says there is ”nothing he can do” about the club’s supporters dismay after Amakhosi suffered a 2-1 defeat against Baroka on Saturday.
Bakgaga moved up to first in the Absa Premiership standings after they came from behind to beat Amakhosi at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Komphela says he was not happy with his side dropping points against Baroka, but admits that he respects the visiting side after they showed a fighting spirit to come back and win the match.
“It’s about this job, you better take it. You have to be frank that they’re not happy with the results, nobody would [be],” Komphela told SuperSport TV after the match.
“Do you think they hate you or something else, it’s because they love their team. There’s nothing you can do about what is said about you, the only thing you can be in charge of is how you handle yourself, to be dignified and have self-respect and respect for them, but it’s life.
“You can’t control anger from outside, but you can control your emotions in terms of redirecting that anger and maybe showing some light. There’s nothing you can do about it.”
