Rhulani Mokwena reviews his final season as coach of Masandawana following the club’s decision to part ways with him only months into his latest four-year contract despite having a thrilling and successful 2023/24 season.
Mokwena led Mamelodi Sundowns to two DStv Premiership titles since being appointed head coach in 2022 with a record of 60 wins, 11 draws and nine losses in 90 matches played. Rhulani has won four league titles in his managerial career and has been named Coach of the Season three times.
He currently has no links to any club but has publicly expressed a desire to continue his career at Cape Town Spurs as assistant to Ernst Middendorp.
