A stunner from Roland Putsche and a goal by Craig Martin saw Benni McCarthy’s side claim maximum points in their opening game of the 2018-19 campaign.
Tembo believes the Citizens were ‘a bit lucky’ in front of goal while ruing his side’s missed chances, despite having numerous occasions to find the back of the net.
‘It’s not the start we wanted. We always wanted to have a good start, but nevertheless, it was only the first game,’ Tembo told FourFourTwoSA.
‘We had a good performance, we created some good chances. I think they were a bit lucky but we played against a good team.
‘Playing at home, they used their chances, they created two chances where we went to sleep and did not defend properly, but credit to them.’
