Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy is confident that his side stand a great chance of upsetting Orlando Pirates at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.
The Citizens have begun their preparations for their penultimate league encounter against the Sea Robbers this weekend.
Heading into this clash, City occupy fourth place in the league standings with 47 points from 28 games, trailing log leaders Pirates by six points.
McCarthy wants his side to blow the Absa Premiership title race wide open by humbling the Soweto giants in their upcoming league fixture.
‘We want to shake things up and I think we will do better next weekend against Pirates. We have a great chance of doing that,’ McCarthy told the media.
‘We must drop a bomb in the title race and we will see what happens. I said that we want to cause all sorts of troubles for Wits, Pirates, and Sundowns.’
The match at Athlone Stadium kicks off at 3pm.
