Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic wants the Buccaneers to work on becoming more consistent in their performance.
The Buccaneers currently occupy sixth place in the Absa Premiership standing with 27 points, trailing log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by seven points after 18 matches.
Sredojevic says he will do everything in his power to help his side become more consistent in the final third.
“We shall do everything from all possible aspects with tactical awareness, with mental strength, with physical fitness and technical effectiveness to do everything to keep consistency,” Sredojevic told KickOff.com.
“If we had converted some of the chances in the first half, maybe we would not come in minus regarding the results and position.
“However, there is no if, we got what we got. We pick up the pieces, we are in a process we need to critically look at and have a standard.
“First two matches are the standard that we need to keep following in that same fashion and provided that in the run of matches, we have consistency in performances in the way we had in the first two matches.”
Orlando Pirates will now travel to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium when they take on Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership on Saturday, with kick-off set for 15:30.
