Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela believes they should’ve defeated Free State Stars based on their dominant display on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys were forced to share the spoils with Ea Lla Koto after playing out to a 1-1 draw at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Komphela says he was disappointed that his side could not secure all three points after conceding their fourth consecutive stalemate in the Absa Premiership.
“Based on how we played, we should have won this game,” Komphela told his club’s official website.
Amakhosi currently occupy sixth place in the PSL standings with 16 points from 12 games, trailing log leaders Baroka by three points.
“We just need to continue fighting,” he concluded, “as we are looking for the three points.”
Kaizer Chiefs will now travel to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium when they take on Chippa United in the Absa Premiership on 6 December, with kick-off set for 19:30.
