SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler insists that the club has not received any new offers New Zealand striker Jeremy Brockie.
The 30-year-old agent Mike Makaab recently revealed that PSL rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates were negotiating a deal for the Matsatsantsa striker.
However, Tinker insists that the clubs are yet to receive any offers for Brockie, despite Sundowns interest in the player.
“We’ve not received any offers [for Brockie], except to say we know that Sundowns have been interested since about six months ago, but there is no new offer at the moment,” Tinkler told the media.
The SuperSport mentor admits that he would have to find a replacement for Brockie, if he decides to leaves Matsatsantsa during the transfer window.
“In the event that he leaves, we will have to go into the market to replace him. We have a squad of 28 players and only if one of them leaves, we will look for replacements. At the moment, no one is leaving, which is why we have not been busy in the transfer window.”
“However, every player has got a price; no one is unsellable,” he concluded.
Brockie has netted a total of five goals and assisted a further two from 16 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
