Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced the signing of Bafana Bafana winger Dumsani Zuma from Bloemfontein Celtic.
The 22-year-old has now put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Amakhosi.
Zuma says he is relishing the chance to don the Amakhosi jersey and insists he was honoured to have trained with the squad prior to completing his move to Chiefs.
“It’s a great feeling to be at Chiefs and to have trained with the squad for the first time this morning,” Zuma told the clubs official website.
The KwaZulu-Natal-born winger revealed that his family are big Chiefs supporter and that he joined the club in the hopes of winning silverware with Steve Komphela’s side.
“My whole family supports Kaizer Chiefs, my parents, my one brother, my grandmother and my aunt,” he added.
“I promise the supporters that I want to help Chiefs win trophies this coming season.”
Over the course of his career, Zuma has managed to rack up 62 appearances in all competitions, while netting three goals and assisting a further six assists in the process, playing for Celtic.
