South African midfielder Lebo Moloto was named in the United Soccer League (USL) All-League Second Team on Monday.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined Nashville from Swope Park Rangers at the beginning of the current season, where he enjoyed an impressive campaign.
The dynamic attacking midfielder managed to score a total of seven goals and assisted a further five to help Nashville claim a post-season berth in their first professional season and registered 51 chances created and an 80.79 passing accuracy rate on 44.1 passes per 90 minutes.
Nashville SC head coach Gary Smith told the club’s official website: ‘Lebo has consistently shown that he is one of the top creative talents in the USL.
‘His exciting and effective displays have been a catalyst for the team and an immediate connection for the fans.’

Meanwhile, the club’s technical director and VP of soccer operations Mike Jacobs had this to say about the South African: ‘Lebo has proven to be one of the premier playmakers in the USL.
‘Even with his season cut short due to injury, it’s nice to know that his consistent performance in 2018 was appreciated.’
