Bayern Munich have entered the running to sign Paris Saint Germain’s talented forward Xavi Simons on a loan deal.
Simons has developed into one of Europe’s brightest prospects despite his lack of opportunities in Paris. Back-to-back successful seasons out on loan at both PSV Eindhoven and RB Leipzig have shown the Dutch international has what it takes to perform on the biggest stages.
Last season, Simons was one of Leipzig’s most influential players scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions.
Bayern Munich’s director Max Eberl is reportedly playing a major role in negotiations as he brokered the 21 year-old’s loan deal between PSG and Leipzig last season.
This move will not be easy. Xavi Simons will be representing the Netherlands at EURO 2024, meaning if this deal is not completed before the 14th of June it is likely it will be put on hold until the end of the competition in mid-June.

Bayern are also keen on loan deal, with PSG still not planning to sell Xavi now.
