The 2024 African cup of nations is set to take place in Ivory Coast from January 13th until February 11th. This will see some of the best players in the Premier League unavailable for selection as they battle for the continents most prestigious international trophy.

Interestingly there are a few clubs who will not have a single player involved in the African Cup of Nations. Burnley, Manchester City and Newcastle United do not have an African international going to AFCON in their squad.
Nottingham Forest will be hit the hardest when AFCON arrives with six members of their squad travelling to Ivory Coast for the competition.
