Former Arsenal and Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has officially announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 34.

The former Polish international left Juventus two weeks ago after reaching a mutual agreement with the club to terminate his contract which he had one year left on, and has since been available as a free agent.
Szczesny made 252 appearances for Juventus since joining in July 2017. He has since kept 103 clean sheets across all competitions, winning three Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia three times.
Szczesny began his career at Arsenal, joining the club at the age of 15 in 2006, before moving for Juventus after loan spells at Brentford and Roma.
