German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is set for a return to Manchester City just 12 months after leaving the club.

Gundogan made the move to Barcelona last year after winning the treble with City in 2022/23.

Barca are looking to offload the 33 year-old, citing his enormous wages as the reason for his departure from the Camp Nou.

Pep Guardiola has given the green light for a Gundogan reunion and both clubs will now complete a deal.
